With digital camera manufacturing technology grows mature gradually, the increase of global digital camera market is rapid. Although the Chinese digital camera industry started late, its development indicated it was in strong situation. Our national digital camera market began to develop in 2001, the sale volume is 195,000. In 2005 the sales volume achieved 4.03 million, the average growth rate is 122%. The Chinese digital camera market development attracted multitudinous merchant to capture this new cheese. After China joined into WTO, the digital camera customs duty is zero now, and the technical development cause the national digital camera company lose the price superiority, the lack of core technology also further limits national digital camera development. Currently, the overseas companies occupies the leadership status, above 90% market share is occupied by the overseas brands. Japanese brand occupied above 70%, but national brands market share only is about 5%. The national digital camera companies' status is in weak situation.This paper mainly uses the standard research method and the demonstration method to research the market structure of Chinese digital camera industry.
