| This paper systematically studied the structure characteristic and the operation mechanism of Urban-rural Ecological Economic Fringe by using of basic principle and method of the ecological economy, party by using regional economics, planning science, ecology, geography, environmental science, system science, by combining that china needs to continually develop and build overall well-off society under the socialism market economy, by concerning the theoretical issue of Urban-rural Economic Fringe. This paper chose Yongchuan municipality of Chongqing provincial city which had the characteristic of outskirts as the research object, preliminary studied the fundamental conditions, ecological capacity, patterns of development, countermeasure of the development of ecological economy. The purpose of these was to scientifically direct the practice of the Urban-rural ecological economy construction and to provide the strategy-making reference for the sustainable development.This paper consisted of summarize of the document and 8 chapters. The 1st chapter was the preface, the next 6 chapters were the main part of the paper, and the last chapter was the conclusion. The summarize of the document introduced the conception and connotation of ecological economy, retrospect the history of the ecological economy development, summarized the research methods of ecological economy and expounded its developmental trends. Analysised some key factors that produced an effect on the sustainable development of ecological economy in Yongchuan by the method of key-factor-analysis and differentiated the current situation of the ecological economy in Yongchuan on the basis of the characterization of the factor.
