Research On China's Art Glass Exportation

For recent years, along with the stable and rapid development of Chinese economy. China' s glass industry has grown worldwide. Nowadays, the industrial glass products (mainly include the flat glass in construction and automobile industry) has confronted with the severe global anti-dumping and safeguard investigations caused by the industrial over-capacity which was followed by sharply increased product exportation. The art glass products, however, as another principal part of glass products, gradually show their great potential and are giving out their brilliant rays.Exportation on China's art glass products has experienced great progress since China's reform and opening up. Base on current situation of art glass industry, this dissertation lays particular stress on the bottlenecks in its future development. As the labor cost advantage in China will be weakened by degrees, China's art glass manufacturers are forced to develop the product that yields high added value, and is produced with advanced technology and an efficient use of energy and materials.This dissertation is concluded with personal prospect on the future of China's art glass industry and aims to guide China's art glass trading companies and manufacturers to find their right ways in the development process. We are expecting the eleventh Five-Year Plan of National Economy, and hope it could be a new guidance for the so many companies in China's art glass industry.
