Systematic Analysis And Evaluation On The Sustainable Tourism Development Of "World Heritage Site" In China

World heritage is a kind of approval and highest honor accorded by international community to national culture, historical sites and natural resources scenery of a certain country. Since 1985, when our country officially signed the 'Convention for the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage' as a contracting party, 31 heritages in our country have been ranked among 'World Heritage List'. Therefore, China is the third biggest heritage country in the world. In China, the work of heritage being inscribed on the World Heritage List started late but developed fast. Because there have been many World Heritages in China, it has been paid much attention by the world. Heritage resort is one of the most important kinds of tourist destinations. Under the pressure of large number of tourists, heritage resorts are facing many problems in terms of environment and resources. In order to promote the preservation and development at heritage resorts, how to manage heritage resorts more effectively and continuously has become the focus of the studies and bones of contention.Defining the World Heritage Site Tourism as the research target, based on an overview of domestic and international issues related to research , analyzing the status of the World Heritage Site Tourism in our country, this papers made such a perspective, the heritage site of sustainable tourism development involves social, economic, environmental three factors, three factors' coordinated, organic integration can be achieved due to the effects. As the foothold, using a systems approach, establishing a system of our world heritage tourism and the system elements, functions, structure levels, objectives and coordination mechanisms were studied.According to certain principle, the author sets up an index system of appraising the development ability of the heritage site tourism, using Application level analysis (AHP) to a specific case — the World Heritage Site Wulingyuan, Hunan Province included analysis and evaluation. Finally, actually propose the World Heritage Wulingyuan sustainable development approach.
