In the study of justice . Harvard University is walking in the forefront of the world .Contemporary authorities of justice : Rawls , Nozick and Walzer all were weel-known professors for the school .Chinese people are quite familiar with Rawls'and Nozick's theory of justice , but they are very unfamiliar with Walzer's theory of distributive justice . The article attempts to give a detailed introduction and profound evaluation to Walzer's theory of distributive justice in order to cover my academic shortcomings in the field.Walzer's theory of distributive justice has deep roots in the concept of Rawls'and Nozick's justice . The essence of Walzer's distributive justice is diverse, i .e .in distributive areas of good , the standard of justice is diverse .He advocated the diverse distributive justice in order to eliminate simple equality in local area and to pursuit complex equality in all areas .Walzer's theory of distributive justice based on membership , emphasis on community values and pursuit a"good politics". The standard of his distributive justice is said in relation to social sense of a particular community . All the good he concerned have sociality and historicity .Therefore , he is a community advocate and his theory of distributive justice has a strong characteristics of relativism .Today our country is building a socialist harmonious society and harmonious social values is just so we should pay more attention to social fairness and justice .
