The Study On Present Condition And Countermeasures Of Chinese Retail Logistics

In 21st century, retail is playing a principal role in supply chain, making a great impact on economic development and our life. Following foreign experience, retail in china also made progress, and it is becoming a vital impetus to economic development. Meanwhile, the importance of logistics as"the third source of profit"is revealed. Retail companies began to reform their logistics system.However, due to the immature conception of modern logistics, there are a lot of problems in retail logistics construction, which are illustrated in low efficiency of logistics, irrational procedure design. Moreover, retail distribution center and logistics information system are immature: distribution center is not taken full advantages; the level of information technical is very low. All of these problems are obstacle of retail expansion.To deal with these problems, we must speed up the construction of logistics informatization and distribution center. According to situation of our country, social distribution center is a feasible formation. During the construction of logistics information system, we should make sure company's real request, train the employees using the system, and consider the relationship between information system and person.Surely, to build modern logistics system, retailer could not focus mind only on the inside of company, but also on the whole supply chain. Retailers should make fully use of the advantages of getting customer request information, share logistics information with partners, and build a steady cooperation relationship upon supply chain. Then, retail agile logistics can be realized.This paper studies the retail logistics theoretically, which induces the foreign experience, and compares it to what Chinese retailers did. Then, this paper puts forward several suggestions on the construction of Chinese retail logistics.
