As a quite extrusive phenomenon in modern economy history, merger and acquisition (M&A) have been the economical activities mentioning in the same breath with finance, trading and investment. What reason drives enterprise to process merger and acquisition? What effect will the merger and acquisition bring? And what should an enterprise pay attention to if it wants to get the active effect?The purpose of study: This text analyses the cause and the effect of enterprise's merger and acquisition and the conformity after merger and acquisition with the case of Cisco and Lenovo. Hoping to enlighten and help the IT enterprises in China which want to process multinational merger and acquisition.The way of study: Basing on the analyzing the Cisco and Lenovo, this text analyses and proves the merger effect and conformity using the main way of case analyzing and the way of criterion analyzing and demonstration analyzingThe production of study: Basing on the existing literatures inside and outside China, the text does some research and has some innovation as follows:The text builds the way of thinking of Cisco merger and acquisition history and effect and comparing with Lenovo in study frame. Through the analysis of Cisco and Lenovo, the text gets the conclusion: It's the normal requirement to process merger and acquisition for the enterprises hoping to develop, the purposes of merger and acquisition is to get the effect of merger and acquisition.The text sets corresponding analysis index, especially adding the enterprise growing index which can show the enterprise's value and developing trend in the future.The text also puts forwards: Conformity is not only after merger and acquisition, It's more important for enterprise to process conformity before merger.
