Analyses On Choosing And Developing Superior Industry In Chongqing

Superior industry is the one has competitive and it makes the growth of the regional economy. However, the influence and selection of leading industry and pillar industry are focused on in the industrial research, and superior industry is paid little attention to.According to the particularity of Chongqing, the author of this thesis comprehensively utilizes the theories of selecting superior industry of industrial economics, regional economics, international trade and economic geography, and adopts quantitative and qualitative approaches to formulate the theoretic framework of research for the selecting superior industry. Then, apply it to industry of Chongqing to choose its superior industry. On such a basis, the author put forward the suggestions for the industry development. Besides the forward and conclusion, the thesis consists of three parts.In part one, first, the author of the thesis describes and evaluates the theories and approaches for selecting the superior industries of industrial economics, regional economics, international trade and economic geography.In part two, the author analyzes the stage of economic development, the present situation and feature of industries, the factors that influence the industrial development, and so on, then preliminarily selects the possible superior industry. Then, the author of the this thesis combines the quantitative result and the qualitative result to finally confirms Chongqing`s superior industry.In part three, based on the conclusion of part two, the author proposes some suggestions for the industry development in Chongqing, develop the fundamental industry.
