The present Information Technology Revolution provided post-modern countries a great opportunity to expand. Under the positive promotion of the government, Korea has developed its information industry successfully, optimized its industrial structure smoothly, and increased its national economy rapidly. Just as Korea, our country is also one of East Asia countries. But our country's information industry is still in the early phase. Lacking of capitals, technology innovations and talents has become a "bottleneck" restricted the development of information industry in our country. Now, using the experiences of Korea to develop our country's information industry rapidly is a key assignment placed in front of Chinese government.Then, what kind of role has the Korean government played on promoting the development of its information industry? How has Korean enterprises grown under the guidance of the government? What illumination would Chinese government gain from experiences of Korea? And what policies and measurements should Chinese government adopt to develop its information industry? Based on all the above issues, I will give an in-depth discussion on the development of information industry and industrial policies of Korea in this thesis. Firstly, I will explain in detail the course of the information industry of Korea under the direction and cultivation of Korean government comprehensively on sequence. And then, I will analysis the growth traces, business strategies and active effects of large enterprise groups and small and medium enterprises of Korea respectively.
