In the eighties, 20th century, the theory of Value-Chain originated by Harvard University Professor Michael E. Porter leads to the establishment of the Chains' theories. Also the meaning, character and analysis method of the Value Chain are more systematic and declared more incisively following by deeper practice on all of the domains. However, the common fitness of management theories is just the managers' own wishful thinking, it must be integrated with the law and character of economic practice. The theory of Value Chain in telecommunication industry is at the stage of exploiting and developing. The thesis mainly discusses the telecommunication value chain' s characters of SIEMENS Ltd. China Com group and direction to enterprise strategy according to telecommunication value chain theory, cost analysis and core competition. The thesis includes four chapters. The first chapter invokes the subject and describes the background and meaning and the research method of the thesis. The second chapter depicts the Value Chains, cost analysis and core competition theory. Chapter three and four are the key sections. The third chapter firstly introduces Siemens Company and researches the characters of Siemens Com Value Chains model, and the contrastive analysis for strategy adjustment resulted from Value Chain changing led by the internal and external circumstance changing. The fourth chapter analyzes the current problems in Simens Com according to the conclusion of previous chapter and provides some strategetic suggestion.
