Positive Analysis And Countermeasure Research On Outward Oriented Agricultural Development Of Shandong Province

With the globalization of world's economy and China's access to WTO, China, a big agricultural country, is internalizing its agriculture. As a big agricultural province of China, it is very important and indispensable for Shandong to develop its outward oriented agriculture. It proves that Shandong has a lot of advantages in developing outward oriented agriculture. At present, Shandong has achieved great success in outward oriented agricultural development.Using qualitative and quantitative method, this paper discussed the basic theory and practice of outward oriented agriculture. The status quo, advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats were analyzed. To reflect the level of outward oriented agriculture, ten economic indicators were chosen. Using clustering analysis method, this paper classified the region of Shandong by the level of outward oriented agricultural development. Using principle component analysis, this paper sorted Shandong and other six provinces by their level of outward oriented agricultural development.Based on the present situation, countermeasures were outlined to develop outward oriented agriculture of Shandong province. Through above study, we can draw some conclusions.First, the research on outward oriented agriculture is a new topic. In new situation, with the fast development of outward oriented agriculture, the research on outward oriented agriculture has become a hot topic. Especially, the research on the high level of outward oriented agriculture of Shandong province has important theory and practice meaning.Second, the meaning of outward oriented agriculture changes with the development of society practice. During 1999 and 2005,the export of agricultural products of Shandong province is the most in China. In foreign capital using and communication and cooperation with other countries, Shandong also got a lot of achievements.Fourth, the level of outward oriented agriculture development of Shandong province is not balancing between different areas. The level of outward oriented agriculture development is the highest in east region, but the level of outward oriented agriculture development is the lowest in west region.
