Research On Evaluation Index System And Method Of Sustainable Development Of The Western Coal

Facing with population environment and resources three hot questions in the world nowadays, It has become common understandings of every country in the world to choose the road of sustainable development.This paper begins with recommend of present researches and theories domestically and abroad of sustainable development, and the latest trends of sustainable development in the domestic coal industry, which analyses development and use of the western coal, then gets the factors that have influence on sustainable development of the western coal such as economy population resources environment and society. On the base of analyzing and using present researches for reference, this paper sets up a set of evaluation index system for sustainable development of the western coal, and makes a systematic analysis and compares with the method of synthetical evaluation and weighting. After pointing out the complex calculation of others method in weighting, the paper recommends a new method of subjectively weighting -G₁ method, and sets up a new kind of synthetical evaluation method of sustainable development of the western coal-G₁ weighing-fuzzy synthetical evaluation method.The established theory and method of sustainable development of the western coal are applied in Huating Coal & Electricity Company Ltd. The evaluation theory and method are applicably tested after dynamic analyzing the developing processes of the empirical case.
