| The engineering project risk primarily resulted from lots of uncertain factors due to the limits of people's knowledge on objective things and the lag of information itself during the implementation of the project, which usually leaded to serious results. Therefore, it was imperative to manage the engineering risks. This paper mainly did some researches on risk evaluation in the risk management. With detailed analysis on the features of engineering project risks, the engineering project risks were put into categories. On the basis of discussing the significance of risk evaluation, the methods of risk identification were summarized. As a premise of full understanding risks, risk identification was indispensable in risk evaluation. The risk identification methods include qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis and the combination of the both, which is usually adopted to transfer the qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis by way of mathematical methods so as that project administrators could have an explicit view on the level of risks with the specific numbers. There are many ways to evaluate engineering project risks, while this paper analyzed the strongpoint and shortcoming of some common methods and a true project had been evalued by the hierarchy evaluation. Based on the above analysis, the method gray-hierarchy evaluation was brought up with the combination of gray theory and hierarchy evaluation, which sets up gray-hierarchy model to confirm the information-incomplete gray-hierarchy system. Firstly, all risks were ranked according to the importance and urgency with hierarchy method. Then all the gray values were calculated through gray whitening function. At last, the results were given the integrated... |
