Study On The Consumer Credit Risk Assessment Of The Commercial Banks In China Based On Logistic Model

With the growing of global banking competition, business retail change has become the basic trend of international banking, more and more big bank use consumer credit as the new profit driver ,because it`s use low capital consumption.Currently,China `s commercial bank developed consumer credit,not just to expand financial markets and increase profit, but also the need to meet the competition come from foreign banks in the condition of financial comprehensive opening.But China`s commercial bank consuer credit business development time is not very long,there are many drawbacks,such as the credit system is not perfect,Credit risk is difficult to masure,Credit risk management is not form a complete and independent system, Consumer credit risk exposed gradually,become the hinder of the development of consuer credit.Then ,how to more effectively to estimate our country commercial bank`s consumer credit risk,and how to better measure of the risk of consumer credit,rise the risk control ability,have important value to our country commercial bank`s consuer credit business.This paper first analysis consumer credit`s definition and characteristics,then point out conser credit is affecting the marco-ecomy, paper research the type of China commercial bank consumer credit risk and the reason why risk will happen,then build Logistic Regression models to give credit scores to loan applicants.Finally,basing on the establishment model about commercial banks and the current status of risk management, this paper gives some suggestion about the establishment and improvement of risk management measures, and the summary of this article.
