Asfastdevelopmentofcurrentsociety,moreandmorecompaniespursuehigherefficiencyin supply chain. Systems are requested for higher visibility of order allocating, supplierservice level,puncture delivery rate, QA, online performance, etc. In order to increaseefficiencythrough integration across supplychain, all of their suppliers and manufacturershave to share the same platform to centralize the supply chain management. Therefore,information system extends from traditional ERP, MRPor finance sealed system to onlinesupply chain management platform. Using project management knowledge to improve thesuccessrateofthesoftwareprojectsisavaluablesubjecttoenhancethecompetitivepowerand build a local brand in the market for the local software companies. Supply chaininformation system is an open platform for managing supply chain information. It coversnot only manufacturers but also suppliers and customers. High degree of customizationcauseslowreferencetosysteminfrastructure.Using Software engineering, project management and supply chain knowledge,corresponding to the software life cycle and project management phase of the projectphasing, the various stages of project management to complete key tasks and softwareengineering need to complete the main task, and through practical projects and analyzingtheresultsofresearchtofindascientificandeffectiveprojectmanagementmethodologyisthe main research content of this article. Asupply chain platform project is split into fourphases: initialize, design, implementation and closure. The article states the functions andresults of each phase. It applies the research results to a real project, comments andanalyzes the supplychain management project for Zi Jiang run byPowerE2E. It ends withthe customization service on the extension of the product and clarifies how to extend thelife cycle of a supply chain information system. Supply chain management softwareproject requires higher requirements for the software architecture, design andimplementation.Thisarticleishighlightedinfriendlypagedesign,systemimplementation,and expansion of these elements in different traditional software projects. The project lasted for more than half a year and finished project requirement analyze, design,development testing and system implement in the last half. After runningstablyfor a year,the data collection shows the project achieves the original expectation. The outcome of theproject is remarkable. It reduces supply chain cost dramatically in less than one year. Italsoprovesthepracticalityoftheprojectmanagementmethodology.
