Since the 80s of last century, in order to adapt to the rapidly changing and highly competitive market environment, many scholars in the field of management made a lot of new management theories and methods, they have been affecting and changing all aspects of the management theory and practice and had great effects on organization form.Based on the detailed classification of business model made by scholars, the paper introduced the concept of cross-product synergy in business model in order to further improve business model theory. Applying the proposed business model based on cross-product synergy to study the product family architecture can make a comprehensive analysis from macro and micro directions. By exploring internal relations between product family architecture and business model, combine the science of theory and the realism of practice to provide theoretical basis for the future development of enterprises.Oriented towards business model based on cross-product synergy, the goal of this paper is to provide a theoretical basis and practical guidance for implementing a reasonable cross-product synergistic management in relevant business organizations industry and actively respond to the challenge brought by the market recovery after the financial crisis by the way of exploring and analyzing the features and mechanism of getting profit by cross product synergy.Based on the business model theory and the enterprise features in the field of product development in China, by the discussion of the product development theory and the importance of synergy in product development process this paper made an in-depth study on the operational mechanism and modeling of the business model based on cross-product synergy. The main innovations of this work are as follows: Firstly, it defined the concept of business model based on cross-product synergy and determined the dimensions and composition of cross-product synergistic business model and built a research model of cross-product synergistic business model based on the analysis of the purpose and process of getting profit by cross-product synergy. Secondly, it analyzed the operation mechanism of cross-product synergistic business model in both dimensions of products and customers. And on this basis, it established two-dimensional synergistic implementing framework of cross-product synergistic business model.Thirdly, it made an in-depth study of the content of product family architecture, and analyzed the mechanism of the business model in the product family architecture.
