The Study On Technology Business Incubators' Services Innovation

Technology Business Incubators are new-type social economic organizations between firms and marketing which supply premises for research and development and production, hardware capacities for communication network and hand office business, and software maintains for training, consulting, policies, financing, laws, business administration and marketing promotion in order to risk avoidance and cost of new ventures and promote survival rate and success rate of the business. Besides, it plays a very important part in boosting local economic development, adjusting the industrial structure, developing Hi-tech industries, creating jobs, ensuring the stability of society and so on. If the hardware capacities are the basis of technology incubators'establishment, the software maintains are the cores of their development. So how to innovate the functions and contents of services provided by incubators is the focus of the theory horizon.The thesis is about the service innovation. Firstly, it systematically inquire the innovation theory and the development history of technology incubators, then analyze the evolution of the government, technology incubators, incubated enterprises and potential Hi-tech enterprises which are the relevant economic agent of technology incubators. Secondly, through statistics and questionnaires, we estimate our service supply of technology incubators and service demand of incubated enterprises by Likert Scale Method and Factor Analysis. Thirdly, we explain the properties, functions and core services of the incubators from America, France and Germany so that we can learn some experiences and find shortcomings contrasting with our incubators. Last, we put forward measures on service innovation from the training, financial support, information network and management model according to analysis results, and present the new development pattern of incubators from the macroscopic in accordance with secondary innovation theory. In the end, we analysis the development of WuHan EastLake Hi-Tech Innovation Center in last twenty years and its innovation achievements. It shows the importance of service innovation and content reformation. Not only brings forward it the foundation of relevant countermeasures and policy suggestions, but also it lay the foundation of providing more effective service innovation and promoting the construction and development of technology incubators in the future.
