The Research On The Relationship Between Trade And Economic Growth In China

Economic growth has been the focus of research in the field of economics. Consumption, investment and exports that affecting economic growth are known as"Troika". In particular, the arrival of the economic crisis of 2008, the reduction in Total Value of Imports and Exports and the decline in GDP both appeared in China.It shows that foreign trade plays a role. So Research on the relationship of China's foreign trade and economic growth is necessary. Based on this, the article selected a total of 31 years of statistical data from 1978 to 2008 .In order to developing our enconomy and withstanding the economic crisis,improving our own technological strength, optimizing product structure, improving the technological content of export products are the key methodsThe article has four chapters. The first chapter introduces the background and the significance of the article.The second chapter introduces the theories of the relationship between of the foreign trade and economic growth and the other articles researching on this topic at home and on abroad.The third chapter analyze our contry's foreign trade actual state and the economic growth level of china from three aspects of Total Value of Imports and Exports , ratio of dependence on foreign trade and trade competitive index, builds a multivariate time series model between Total Value of Imports ,Total Value of Exports and Gross Domestic Product. Both from a short period and from a long period ,the chapter analyzes the relationship between the foreign trade and economic growth The fourth chapter is that suggestions to promote the foreign trade level .
