Empirical Research Study On Relationship Between Technological Innovation Investment And Performance Of Companies-the Data From Fujian Listed Company

Technology is beyond to these two traditional production factors capital and labor contributing to economic growth and the most important determinant of long-term economic growth. For countries or territories, technological innovation is the basic source of technology progress and to promote economic growth;For companies, technological innovation determines whether a company has competitive advantages and can be long-term sustainable, and is also a power to improve productivity and market. In the face of global economic wave, how to choose correctly and manage technological innovation activities and assess effectively technological innovation activities influences directly growth and core competitiveness of companies. Therefore, the study about relationship between technological innovation investment and performance of companies also becomes a focus.On the basis of technology, innovation, technological innovation and other relevant theoretical literature reviews in the domestic and international, this paper selected density of technological innovation investment as explained variable, such as tbq four performance indicators as dependent variables and more controlled variables using Fujian listed company data between the years 2004– 2009 as research objects. The author researched the relationship between technological innovation investment and performance of companies from growth and profitability by establishing a multiple regression model, and estimated and inspected parameters, expecting some realistic meaning to managers and investors of Fujian regions and Haixi listed companies.This paper draws conclusions by empirical research: for Fujian listed company, technological innovation is the rapid growth in business, can enhance core competitive power of enterprises and produce a good economic performance;It has also proved that technological innovation investment can produce good economic results in a long-term. Finally, according to the conclusion, the author presents some proposals such as increasing government efforts to support corporate scientific and technological innovation, creating a corporate culture conducive to innovation, strengthening staff team construction of technological innovation, using completely external resources, strengthening cooperation, seeking new technology innovative ways, committing to explore and use venture capital funds, broadening the financing channels in technological innovation investment, fully using geographic advantage ,strengthening cooperation between Fujian and HongKong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises to improve technological innovation capacity and further improving technological innovation form and content of information disclosure.
