Under the background of the current economic and financial system change in China, difficult situations such as facing high cost in financing, seeing narrow access and lacking of variety in financial solutions, and having limited financial credit or government supports and so on, are widely seen in the small and medium-sized enterprises'financing. On account of the imperfection and juvenility of the Chinese capital market, the general source of getting outer capital financing for small and medium-sized enterprises is to finance indirectly through bank loans. However, private enterprises have been discriminated for long in China due to their ownership. Therefore, in order to realize fast development of recovery of the Chinese economy, it is crucial to promote the healthy development of small and medium-sized enterprises and the credit discrimination against private enterprises calls for urgent elimination.Based on the foundational status of China's small and medium-sized enterprises(hereafter referred to as SMEs) in its current economic and financial transformations, this article has raised the issue of difficulty of SMEs in financing in the first place, followed by the study of credit discrimination against SMEs and introduced its development and theoretical progress both at home and abroad, formulated the research thread of thoughts and framework for its study and analyzed the phenomena through the angles of history, sociology and economics to find the countermeasures.To begin with, the paper considered the changes in the history of China's economic society, introduced the transformation of Chinese financial market and reviewed the important reforms in the Chinese society and their influences to the society, economy, public mentality and public behavior since the coming up of the opening and reform policy and the foundation of China. Moreover, in the precondition of the conversion of financial and credit patterns, the historical background and causations to the credit discrimination are analyzed.In the next place, this article described the related conception in psychology and its relationship with credit discrimination. It attempted to explore new solutions through the comprehension and analysis of the credit discrimination in aspects of Matthew effect, Stereotypes effect, bandwagon effect and so on . At last, the article investigated and analyzed the problems existing in the financial market. Moreover, it explained the credit discrimination phenomenon by means of model from a theoretical perspective. It has taken the case of Liaocheng, Shandong province as an example and investigated its SMEs'development and the finance industry, combined the actual situation with theory to form an econometric model and drew an attribution analysis on the current credit discrimination.Based on the theoretic analysis in this article combined with demonstration and the causation of credit discrimination drawn in historical angel, considering the foundational status of China's SMEs in the current economic society and their difficult situation, the author puts forward proposals from the angles SMEs, bank and government and believes it is necessary to seek more reasonable and effective means to improve the discrimination phenomenon in credit market and to provide full support to SMEs in financing and hopes to make contribution to the stable, healthy and fast development of SMEs in the long term and to the recovery of Chinese economy.
