Study On The Evaluation Of Shanxi Urban Tourism Competitiveness Based On Structural Equation

With China's economic growth,tourism has gained considerable progress,the status of economic development in China also becomes increasingly important.As the advancement of people's income and urbanization,tourism has gradually become the core of the city's economic development industry,with the increasing domestic and international tourism demand.China's cities have placed tourism as a new economic growth point.However, the problem restricting the development of tourism also occurs,such as the extensive development of tour places,vicious competition between the tourism industry among the different cities.Since shanxi as a tourism province of china,it is a worthy subject to study how to use their own resources in all major cities to develop tourism,so as to enhance their overall competitiveness in tourism.The paper is based on the 480 samples of valid questionnaires.Firstly,through factor analysis, principal and component analysis,the questionnaire used SPSS17.0 software to analyze reliability and validity by the removal and amendments of unsuitable indicators and ultimately formed a urban tourism competitiveness evaluation system with five-level index and the 15 secondary indicators. Analysis of the tourists concerning which city is to be destination has also be done to study between relations among five factors,such as the supporting factors,demand conditions,resource endowments, location conditions and destination management relationship.Secondly,we try to learn from structural equation model approach,combined with tourism,economics,urban tourism competitiveness study of the characteristics of tourism based on Shanxi's actual situation to promote Tourism Competitiveness Research continues to expand in new directions.Research has been done from a more operational point of view to further discuss the competitive factors.Proposal is made according to the characteristics of urban development in Shanxi. The LISREL8.7 software uses natural resources, the supporting factors,demand conditions,resource endowments, location conditions and destination management, the causal relationship between the five factors were analyzed.From a more operational point of view of the competitiveness factors,according to Shanxi status and characteristics of urban development put forward countermeasures and suggestions of its development,efforts are made to establish a win-win situation with complementary advantages among major cities in Shanxi,and to support in joint efforts to support and develop the tourism and promote Shanxi's the overall image in tourism.
