Since 1990, with rapid developing of automobile industry,improving of people's overall living standards,growing car users, automotive products,seen as a symbol of identity and status, was becoming public's consumption hot spots. When the cars come into the course of daily life, mass media played a multiple role.With the progress of China's automobile industry and increasing of internet users, the automobile network media developed very quickly, mainly in the increasing number of media, growing influence. China's automobile network media has played a great role in the acceleration development,healthy and sustainable of China's automobile economic. However, the developing of automotive web site is experiencing a "bottleneck", from content production to the form, from the advertising business to marketing model innovation, there are a number of issues.This article firstly reviewed the related history of automobile web site, and combed the development status and problems, attempting to analyze competition of automobile web site, and its key features deeply and systematically; then, analyzed problems of automobile web site's development at present, and explored the future of competition and development strategies of automobile web site. In the last part of the article, roughly combed the marketing strategy of the automobile web site and explored the direction of innovation to provide some long-term development guide to the healthy and enduring development of the automobile web site.
