Research On The Strategy Execution Model Based On The Balanced Scorecard And Its Application

Strategy execution is the process which aims to translate decisions into concrete actions and achieve strategic objectives ultimately, and how to promote the effective strategy execution has been given more and more attention in theoretical and business fields. Practice shows that the lack of theoretical guidance and execution process is one of the main reasons of the ineffective strategy execution.Based on the analysis of existing literature, this paper proposed a strategic execution model based on the Balanced Scorecard, then, discussed the processes and methods, nextly, did further discussion for these processes and methods through case studies, finally, made a summary and prospect of the paper.The main conclusions are:a practical strategic execution model is benefit for making the corporate strategy landed, and the Balanced Scorecard is a useful management tool for landing of corporate strategy; strategy execution should make corporate strategy the center of the execution, and in this process, strategy execution expand in the logic:mobilization, communication, decomposition, coordination, implementation and follow-up; strategy execution model based on the Balanced Scorecard calls for collaboration of different departments and especially the support came from the leaders. Through introducing the Balanced Scorecard as a strategic execuion tool and case studies, this paper, in certain extent, offsets drawbacks of the lack of operability of the traditional strategy execution model, so as to provide a reference for research and practice in the strategy execution.
