Foreign Trade has an important effect to the Chinese economic development and industrial structure advancement. Guangdong's economy rapid development depend on foreign trade in recent years. However, in Guangdong Province, the natural environment of Guangdong deteriorating, resource consumption and serious environmental problems can not be optimistic. This thesis applies international trade theories and environmental economics knowledge to analyse 3 effects of Guangdong's foreign trade on environment, from the perspective of exporting and the consequential air pollution by exporting firms.Firstly, this article uses the adaptively modified model by Antweiler, Copeland and Taylor, selecting data of air pollution, foreign trade and economic development from 1988 to 2009, to analyze the empirical influences of Guangdong foreign trade on industrial waste gas emission. Thereby, we estimate the total net effect of the foreign trade. Secondly, on the base of relative econometric model created already, we use variate controlling method to inspect the application of "Pollution Haven" and "Environmental Kuznets Curve" to Guangdong, and find out that both of them are tenable for the sample period. Then lastly, we make some advises for Guangdong export-oriented economic development and environmental improvement.
