Influences Of Micro-finance To The Poverty Of Rural Women

Poverty problem has always been being one of the vital and serious problems which not only hold up the progress of human society, but also hinder the development of rural economy in China. Currently, more and more attention has been paid to the poverty of rural women which has been considered as a global problem. In recent years, with the success of micro-finance in Bengal rural bank as well as the popularity of international social micro-finance in developing countries, micro-finance has made remarkable achievement refer to anti-poverty in China, and it has raised the hope of shaking off poverty for rural women.In the dissertation, the implementation of micro-finance in Huining, Gansu was taken as a sample for analysis. It focuses on the research of influences for micro-finance to the poverty of local rural women. It includes not only the common research of micro-finance for alleviating poverty:economic benefit, but also pay much attention to the research of influences of micro-finance for rural women's education, health, social status and lifestyle. There are mainly four parts in this dissertation. In the first part, theoretical definition being made for women poverty base on the theory of poverty. It considers that women poverty can be divided into material poverty and humanistic poverty. And then, the development and the feature of micro-finance both at home and abroad are introduced in the second part. Also, the application of micro-finance in alleviating women poverty being referred to here. Followingly, in the third part, the conclusion of micro-finance's positive influences in improving women's health, education as well as their economic and social status being made according to the analysis of micro-finance for women in Huining, Gansu base on the first two parts. At last, considering the positive influences of micro-finance on anti-poverty for rural women, corresponding approaches for strengthening micro-finance are proposed according to the existing problems of micro-finance being implemented for our national women at present.
