New Eurasian Continental Bridge Container Transport Factors

Currently, the development of container transport is a measure of the level of development of the main coastal ports. China's rapid economic growth persists, and its transport system will be developed and improved constantly in search of Europe's transport system with a good connection method.The New Eurasian Continental Bridge (NEACB) is able to connect Europe and Asia through the Asia-Pacific countries and the European land-based shortest path. The opening of the NEACB and its development reflects Internationalization, regionalization and integration trends of the world economy. As compared with the Siberian Land Bridge and maritime transport, the NEACB has advantages of distance, but in the freight, transit time, daily running distance it is lack of competitiveness and attractiveness. Therefore, the opening of more than 20 years, there are more short-distance transport, long-distance transport less. Because of the NEACB area runs through the countries and regions which economic, political, basic design conditions and the natural environment is very different, there are very many factors able to affect the success of its transport.This paper proposed NEACB factors of the economy, domestic policies and measures, the countries exchange conditions and other factors. Then, article, using gray prediction model method, forecasted the ability of NEACB to meet the needs of the trade between Europe and Asia in transport service. The results show that NEACB railway container transport development and the development of the Eurasian land multimodal transport are directly related. With maintaining growth of world oil prices and limited trends of navigation channels in the maritime transport, and the risk of terrorist attacks, the Eurasian container transport of goods will be transferred to terrestrial channels. The main land transport corridors can provide trade and transport between Europe and Asia are the Siberian Continental Bridge and the new Eurasian Continental Bridge. NEACB across many countries and there are CA countries, so it is more than the Siberian Continental Bridge depends on factors related to international cooperation and exchange between countries in the Land Bridge zone. The most interested in the direction of transport development in the NEACB are EU countries, Eastern Asian countries (China, South Korea and Japan) and Kazakhstan.In order to promote the development of the NEACB and the development of political organization and coordination mechanism in the NEACB zone, it is necessary to collect efforts of governments and international agencies equality, provide the infrastructure and legal basis for the land bridge to adapt to the development of world container situation of intermodal transport, continue organize timely research and statistical analysis of transport on the NEACB.
