Dalian Airport Ground Access Network Study

With economic globalization, civil aviation industry is playing more and more significant role in worldwide. Demand for civil aviation transport has greatly stimulated the development of airport. Under this background, it is necessary to do some research on how to deal with the relationship between airport and regions, and how to provide more convenient service for passengers by providing ground access service.For airport, car is an important ground access mode, but it is not good for airport to develop sustainable. American airports had already shown lots of drawbacks and faults. As we known, European countries' road capacity is too limited, which has made the European countries' airports, especially large hub airports, to focus on the development of public transport. Airport's planners are paying attention to the airport's public transport ground access network construction. In our country, airport's public transport network construction is still in its infancy, we should learn from foreign experiences, priorities should also be put onto the public transport network. Dalian Airport in our country is in a backward state, so we should focus on the public transport network construction and research.In this paper, we have analyzed and researched Dalian Airport ground access system, and according to the theory and method of transportation planning, Dalian were divided into several grids, then calculated the traffic volume of each grids. Next, we solve the routes of Dalian Airport Bus by Genetic Algorithm. Meanwhile, depend on the actual situation of Dalian road network, the solved routes were amended and adjusted in order to get the best results. According to the theory of transportation planning program evaluation, the Bus routes were evaluated and results is quite satisfactory. Finally, some advices and recommendations on airport ground access network were given in this paper.
