The Study On Interactive Development Between Tourism And Urbanization In The Southeast Of Chongqing

Urbanization is the inevitable result of the development of economic modernization and social progress, it is also the only way that less developed areas of western region realize development. The paper is start from how to realize urbanization, especially according to the reality of underdeveloped areas, in order to choose the best path. The traditional urbanization path is to adapt the early industrialization, showing a significant positive correlation. According to the actual situation of less developed western regions, this paper makes the southeast of Chongqing for an example, researching on interactive development between tourism and urbanization. The paper attempts to clear the dominant parts in the interactive development process of tourism and urbanization in order to clear the path of between different parts.This paper includes six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction. Through reviewing the research on domestic and international interactive relation and countermeasures between tourism and urbanization, present some experiences and inspiration in the development and showing the results of current research. In the end, it is put forward the key point of the paper is the essential factors and the dominant parts between tourism and urbanization.The second chapter is the theory. Through explaining the theory, including urbanization, the economy of tourism and industrial agglomeration, the theoretical basis is built for further research.The third chapter is empirical study. Firstly, the Paper evaluates current situation and development requirements of urbanization in the southeast of Chongqing. Secondly, the paper elaborates foundation and advantages of tourism. On the one hand, the paper proofs the necessity and possibility of interactive development. On the other hand, data offers support for discuss of the interactive relation. With SPSS, the paper checks the interactive relation between tourism and urbanization in the southeast of Chongqing and offers two interactive development paths. One makes tourism as the leading, and the other makes urbanization as the leading. The forth chapter is to discuss the specific interactive development paths. There are four essential factors between tourism and urbanization in the southeast of Chongqing, including demographic factors, economic factors, landscape factors and concept factors. Through analyzing actual situation of a district and five counties, the paper sums up two specific interactive development paths.The fifth chapter is optimum measures. For the probable questions in the interactive development, the paper offers some measures, including the management of ecology, the protection of folk-custom, regional cooperation, personnel training, and so on.The sixth chapter is a conclusion.
