| Petrochemical industry is the important pillar industry of national economy. It has intensive resource and capital technology and a high degree of industrial relatedness with a large economic size. Petrochemical industry plays a decisive role in promoting industrial upgrading and economic growth, and is in relation to the country's economic lifeline. VAT transformation takes certain impact on the change of petrochemical industry tax and its income and investment. But most of the relevant literatures stay in the theoretical level and lack of empirical analysis. In this article, base on characteristics of petrochemical industry itself, empirical analysis methods are applied to investigate VAT transformation influence on petrochemical industry tax, income, cash flow and fixed assets investment. Then actual data of listed petrochemical industry are applied to validate the theoretical and empirical results. This article also analyze the transformation results and put forward problems worth attention in the current implementation of VAT transformation across the nation as well as improvement of related measures. |
