Research On Business Strategy Of Xinghai Oil Port Company

ABSTRACT:After Entering the WTO, crude oil and refined oil tariff and protective measures have been gradually reducing and cancelling, and the petroleum market steadily open more fields to the outside world. The steps of international oil companies which enter into the China's petroleum market and petrochemical industry are quickened, including the oil storage logistics field and refined oil retail field. As the internationalization of domestic market, the competition becomes fierce.CNPC, Sinopec Group,CNOOC and Sinochem Group are facing more complicated market environment and pressure.Meanwhile, the price of international crude oil at a high position all the time bring great risk to the energy security and steady development of China's economy. For this reason, our government begins to pay attention to the national energy and store the construction of system extraordinarily, since 2003, build the strategic petroleum reserve base in three periods that the country has begun to make investment to the petroleum reserve base construction. In 2009, China published " petrochemical industry rejuvenation plan ", which carries on the refined oil reserve construction. Under such policy and environment, the research object-- Xinghai oil port company, the branch company of CNPC Jinzhou Petrochemical Corporation, which engages in reserve of crude oil, refined oil, gas and petrochemical products for the main business,is facing both opportunities and challengs. So, base on the analysis of the condition of this company, we could make a plan for the future business strategy.This thesis adopts literature survey law, research approach of the case, theory to combine research approaches, and using SWOT analysis tool to study the enterprise actual conditions which revitalize Xinghai oil port company, stress its problem of development, analyze the opportunities and threats, inferior position and outside that enterprises exist in the evolution at present, and then propose revitalizing the level integrated management strategy development goal step by step of Xinghai oil port company:Serve the Jinzhou Petrochemical Corporation and turn company into the main fact inwards, launch the self-operation of storage in order to complement to the outside; Build the logistics centre of regional oil; Make the base of a million cubic meters of large-scale petroleum reserve.This thesis take Xinghai oil port company as a research object, have put forward to petroleum storage thinking of analysis, analytical method and relevant suggestions of managing development of enterprises in the future, the theory combines reality, have stronger practicability and operational, this will bring real reference value to enterprise-like development, and can offer certain reference function.9 charts,1 table,33 bibliographies.
