Research On Inventory Risk Of Agile Supply Chain

Increasingly fierce competition in the market is calling for the generation of agile supply chain management, and agile supply chain management made a number of higher inventory requirements:to meet customer demand, agile, high efficiency and low cost, reconfigurable, reusable and scalable. Responding to these requirements, managers face the risk of inventory that is different from general inventory risk, so managers must find another way to control the inventory risk of agile supply chain. Base on the risk management, and inventory management theory, to explore the agile supply chain inventory risk management approach.The content of this paper is the research of inventory risk of agile supply chain, to solve the problem including three aspects:the identification of agile supply chain inventory risk, assessing inventory risk of agile supply chain and controlling of agile supply chain inventory risk. By analyzing a variety of risk identification and assessment methods, the final choices in this paper are the fault tree method and the expert scoring to identify and assess inventory risks of agile supply chain, and obtained for the most influential inventory risk factor of agile supply chain. This paper selected a inventory control classic model-newsboy model to control agile supply chain inventory risk. But in this article the classical newsboy model was modified, which can re-ordering and re-sale. This improved newsboy model is more in line with the requirements of agile supply chain.There are 3 figures,4 tables and 51 references in this dissertation.
