Study Of The Competitiveness Evaluation Of Hebei Equipment Manufacturing Industry

Equipment manufacturing industry is the backbone of the national economy, the driving force of economic growth, the mean to industrial upgrade and the guarantee of the national security. The highly developed equipment manufacturing industry is a necessary condition for industriation and an important symbol of the international competitiveness. Therefore, to explore the competitiveness evaluation system and method of the equipment manufacturing industry in Hebei province, put the development of the equipment manufacturing industry into the country's macro- environment, analysis the competitive factors in the national order through the systematic view,find out the deficiency and gap, and scientifically analyzed advantages and disadvantages has important realistic significance to improve the competitiveness of the equipment manufacturing industry, promote the upgrading of the industrial structure and the sustained and healthy development of the economy.Firstly, the theory of industrial competitiveness and the competitiveness of domestic equipment manufacturing have been studied carefully, and then the achievement of the equipment manufacturing industry and the existing problems in Hebei province has been summarized. Secondly, through analyzing the development of equipment manufacturing industry in Hebei provine, the index system of the competition evalluation of equipment manufacturing industry in Hebei are constructed from three aspects of inputs, outputs and markets, the index dimensionless method and the comprehensive evaluation method are determined. Thirdly, the overall equipment manufacturing industry in Hebei province in 2005 and 2008 have been evaluated and analyzed by constructing the competitiveness evaluation model and using the principal component analysis, found the advantages and disadvantages of the equipment manufacturing industry's competitive, and though the comparative analysis of the seven sub-industries of the equipment manufacturing industry to determine the advantage industry and disadvantage industry in Hebei in 2008. Finally, according to the manufacturing competitiveness'problems, we have putted forward counter measures and suggestions to improve its competitiveness.
