Science parks in our country are also springing up, gradually establish and improve the industrial management system and promote the mechanism of the market, meanwhile,they have also been bringing enormous benefits to our society, economy and urban development.As an important carrier of the urban economy enhancement, science park is a place for people to produce, do the work of R & D and related supporting services, but also the habitat of human beings. With the city's increasing pursuit of quality life, science park environment should also be transforming from the pursuit of beautiful investment landscape of early-term, the stable industry environment of mid-term, to the harmonious living settlement of long-term. From this point of view, China's science park still has a long way to in creating a mature industry chain of economy, and a cultural and ecological harmonical environment.Based on the planning and design of science park, this paper introduces the concept of the spirit of place, and through the learning of related theories and practical case studies, it aims to find a special way for the development of science park. As a basic research point of view of this paper, the spirit of place is concerning the characteristics of the space environment, its stability and its development. Just because the existence and development of the space environment is inseparable from the background of people's activities and socio-economic and cultural aspects, creating and building a quality space environment needs various perspectives to join, and vice versa it affects the entire community with various feedbacks and influences. Therefore, by analyzing the area environment of science park in a multidisciplinary angle, this paper is trying to determine the park's location and direction of its development, excavate the characteristics of the site and cultivate a cultural atmosphere of the community, and finally to offer some constructive suggestions and methods for creating a dynamic, harmonious living settlement in a all-round dimension of economy, nature and society.
