Research On The Sustainable Development Of Mining Industry Of Hebei Province

Sustainable development is not only the common development strategy for man to deal with and coordinate the interrelations of population, resources and environment in the 21st century, but also the only way for man to seek for better living and development. The sustainable development of the mining industry constitutes important parts of the problems of sustainable development. Hebei Province is rich in mineral resources and has nearly ten thousand types of mining enterprises, it has formed coal, iron and steel, cement and other mineral resources as raw materials for industry development trend, and mining economy occupies an important position in the economy in Hebei Province. Mining exploration of sustainable development, for the achievement of Hebei Province, resources, environment, economic, and social development are great significant.First of all, the paper analyses the mineral resources and characteristics of Hebei Province, it explores the relationship between the sustainable development of mining industry of Hebei Province and the economic and social development, industrial structure, agricultural development, environmental protection. The paper researches the status of sustainable development in mining industry of Hebei Province, and raises the issue about the sustainable development of mining industry in Hebei Province.Secondly, the paper evaluates the sustainable development in mining industry in Hebei Province, the evaluation is based on "Development efforts" and "coordination of power". The paper composes indicator system of the sustainable development in mining industry. The Mining Sustainable Development indicator system consists of 2 subsystems and 32 indicators. And then, I use AHP and fuzzy evaluation method to evaluate the level of sustainable development of mining industry in Hebei Province. The evaluation shows Mining Sustainable Development in Hebei Province arrives at a weak level.Finally, the paper bases on the results of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and proposes the suggestions about sustainable development of mining industry in Hebei Province:Strengthen the work of mineral exploration, achieve diverse sources to own the fund of mineral exploration; Develop the two markets, improve resource security capacity; Rely on technological progress, develop the circular economy; Strengthen supervision and management, standardize the order of mining operation; Enhance environmental protection in the development process, raise awareness of resource conservation.
