| As the EU's expansion and integration, its influence in world trade is also growing. The expansion and extension of EU will not only affect trade between EU member states, but also has impact on EU's trade partners.All along, EU is one of the most important trading partners of China. In 2007, EU became the largest export market of China. It means that the trade relation between China and EU has a strong influence on China's export. Thus, the analysis of the impact of EU's enlargement on intra-EU trade means a lot to China.Previously, the majority of researches on intra-EU trade focus on the division of labor in EU and their trade pattern. Analyses based on Constant Market Share Model are few. This assay mainly focuses on intra-EU trade of the 27 EU Member States. And the study is based on Constant Market Share Model. We will try to figure out that how do these three factors-commodity composition, market and competitiveness impact on one country's export. We also take Poland and Germany as example to distinguish the difference between the existing and new members.This thesis includes seven chapters which divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction of the background, significance and methods of the research. The second part is the conclusion of the relevant theory and literature which is concerning on intra-EU trade. The third part is the most significant.On the basis of the overview of EU's development and intra and external trade, the analysis continues with the constant market share model. And finally make reveal the different motive for trade growing of existing and new members of EU. The fourth part gives recommendation on trade between China and EU. The fifth part is the final part, including the conclusion and outlook. It summarizes conclusions and predicts the future of EU and trade relation between China and EU. |
