As an important part of component of urban spatial structure, urban waterfront is a city's basic living space and local culture space, consequently, drawing many cities' attentions on their own growth and renewal in recent decades. Various social activities and group behaviors concentrate on urban waterfront leisure space, which supports and perserves effectively and systematically the multiple dimensions of cultural diversity, and moreover, becomes an important field of leisure studies both at home and abroad.This study analyzed the relationship between the perception of leisure space and behavior intention in urban waterfront in view of spatial perception and emotional evaluation. Based on defining the research object at first, the study reviewed literatures to clarify the conceptions of urban waterfront, leisure space, and perception. Secondly, combined with expert consultation, the study put forward research ideas and research model, and tested and designed the questionnaire items. Through a small-scale survey, purification of the item had completed, which formed the formal questionnaire. After large-scale questionnaires, the study analyzed datas collected with the help of SPSS17.0 and AMOS7.0, and then revised research model and hypotheses and testing. The relationship between interviewees'demographic characteristics and leisure behavior characteristics, and perception and behavior intention had been verified through independent sample T test and ANOVA. Summaries of the study and research limitations and prospects were concluded, and some suggestions on the leisure space design were prosposed at last. |
