The Engineering Feasibility Research Of New Ore Terminal In The South Port Area Of Tianjin Port

Tianjin port is the largest comprehensive foreign trade port in northern China and the national chief hub port, which mainly exports bulk cargo like ore, coal, etc. and container. Metallic mineral now has become one of the fastest growing goods in the recent ten years at Tianjin port. According to lots of reliable statistics, it predicts the trend of iron ore's throughput at Tianjin port from now on with a quite optimistic future.With the change of market situation and the accelerating push of the strategy of "bulk cargo in southern part and container in northern part" at Tianjin port, there is a big gap between the existing ion ore's throughput and its actual demand, which is urgent to build a large-scale professional ore unloading port to fill this gap.This paper designs and analyzes the cargo handling technology and general plain layout of the twenty-six professional ore ports of Nanjiang, Tianjin port and obtains the optimal decision through comparison. In addition, it introduces relevant information about this project's port design load, structure and its auxiliary projects and so on. Moreover, it attaches great importance to the project's investment estimation and makes an economic evaluation by means of the analysis of the project's financial operation condition, the calculation of the financial efficiency indicator, the analysis of its insolvency and financial sensitivity.It comes to the conclusion that the construction design of the twenty-six professional ore ports project of Nanjiang, Tianjin port is scientific and feasible through technical and economic analysis with good technical and economic evaluation. This project will play an important role in improving the port's competitive strength, meeting the economic development and increasing iron ore's throughput needs to adapt to the larger-sized vessel development trend and build an international shipping center.
