An Approach To The Issue Of Chinese Garlic Further Processing In Laiwu City

Chinese garlic is rich in resources, is the worlds largest garlic country, production in the world, is one of the major trading nations. Shandong is garlic planting, the export of a large province, the city with the famous "three hot" base, is the main production area of garlic. Garlic further processing project implementation will not only help to promote agricultural products to the large-scale agricultural processing industry, standardization of agriculture and international agricultural development, but also for Laiwu rural industrial structure adjustment, promoting the industrialization process of agriculture and increase agricultural export earnings, accelerate agricultural standardization,Based on the theoretical description of garlic processing research at home and abroad, this paper takes garlic process development situation of Laiwu city as the research objective, and then works out the resolutions for the problems in the garlic processing. It has concluded that the main issues are small scale of production, lagging processing craft, lower technology input, etc.This paper tries to use the comparative analyze method, the case analytic method, discusses the major factors which affect the development of garlic process. Starting from the micro-level, this paper explores the product categories, process indicators etc., all of which can influence the development of garlic further processing. The analysis result shows that small-scale production and commodity markets have serious contradiction between supply and demand. And the factors of industry chain too short, value-added too low etc. dampens farmer's production enthusiasm. Starting from the macro factors, this paper analysis the factors, such as the adjustment of agricultural structure, garlic process policy and their influence on the industry of garlic process. The analysis results showed that these factors play an active role in promoting the garlic process development. Finally, combining the garlic process development of Laiwu city, this paper put forward a viable path and policy proposals on the garlic process industrial development of Laiwu City.
