Lanping County, Luoguqing Pumi Ancient Village Protection And Development Of Exploration And Research

In recent years, the protection and development of traditional settlement get more and more attention in planning research and become a hot issue of this region. As well as in Northwest of Yunnan province, the unique regional culture characteristics bring up traditional village with strong feature. This article based on a background of mountain culture in Lanping district in Yunnan, studied and discussed the characteristics of traditional village in Yunnan province—with Primi ethnic village as representative—and also provide the principle of specific protection which fit current development. Meanwhile, based on analysis of contradiction between development and protection, bring out with principle of organic protection which suit for Luoguqing village, namely:principle of holistic, principle of developmental, principle of showy and principle of emphasis highlight. According to these principles the system of village protection was set up, which include: village level, landscape level and house building level.Based on theories research of protective principle, the specific measures were carried out for operation of protection in Luoguqing. The most special point in these specific measures is, breakthrough the traditional way of only focus on protection of style and features, and then put the protection of people's action and the place of action as another very important part of the whole process. That is, to advocate protection of scene space in village. This article also introduced the concept of architectural semiology. With hope of find out the feature of essence through the analysis of semiology characteristic of Primi's batten-house, then pursue for purposeful protection and use it to guide design and construction of new house and building, in this purpose to protect and develop traditional characteristics in village.This article provide instructive quest for protection theory of minority traditional village, with the hope of enlightening protection and development for minority traditional village in the future.
