With the rapid development of Global economic, we can see the globalization every where. The manufacturing firm which earns their profit only based on the product is not going to abreast of the time. At the end of 20 century, the room for manufacturing firm development in the developed countries is getting smaller and smaller. The proportion of tangible products accounted in the value chain is getting small and small because of homogenization of products, increasing competition and service technology. Therefore, service enhancement for the manufacturers is a very important initiative according to the economic requirement.Firstly, we have defined the concept of manufacturing enhancement based on supply chain theory. Then we analyzed the evolution of manufacturing companies based on some related theories, such as smile curve.This article relies on internal enhancement and supply chain services enhancement. And we analyzed risks of the internal and external ways by using fault tree method.At the last chapter, the article mainly studies the service enhancement based on supply chain collaboration approach-outsourcing model. We analyzed the game between the manufacturer and the supply chain collaborators through the principal-agent theory.
