Corporate philanthropy is an important and indispensable part in charities. Remedying the defect of government function and resolving some public crisis or social problems, corporate philanthropy is an effective choice for the enterprise to shoulder the social responsibilities and have brought about some unexpected benefit, such as, enhancing enterprise image, molding the product brand, and attracting elite, ect. However, compared with the corporate philanthropy in America, our corporate philanthropy is still on the initial stage, the rate of participating in donation is not high;the level of donation is low and the enterprises are lack of initiative and plan. Due to the different historical background and cultural belief of enterprises and limitations in their development, there are many of differences in corporate philanthropy between China and America.In the modern China, the development of the corporate philanthropy depends on the change in ethical ideas and the support of the system, so it is necessary to strengthen the study of ethics to corporate philanthropy. This text explained the corporate philanthropy from three aspects---the school of normative ethics: Utilitarian, Deontology and Virtues. As a result of the defect in traditional ethical ideas and its attach to the government, the corporate philanthropy have some shortcomings, such as, the low level of donation, lacking of management, ect. Consequently, we should construct the corporate philanthropy from the perspective of ethics in order to make enterprises consciously regard corporate philanthropy as their social responsibility. The author tries to put forward some practical constructive measures from three aspects. Firstly, enterprise charitable related system's construction and consummation, and taking specific measures such as legal construction, monitoring and supervision, encourage system and so on. Secondly, strengthening the enterprise's charity awareness, and constructing an idea that'Charity is an investment'for the enterprise, and constructing corporate philanthropic culture. Thirdly, establish the moral personality of the entrepreneur and cultivate their responsibility of bringing benefit to our society. In this way, we can promote the development of corporate philanthropy greatly, and make the corporate philanthropy to be an important supplement to the social security system.
