With the development of economy and the improvement of people's living standards, tourism consumers, with the goal of seeking high quality of tourism service, are becoming more mature.Thus,mobile travel service which is representative personalized travel service has become a new trend, which, however, is still in its initial stage.Although there may be many problems during the course of development, context-awareness application, for the ubiquity of intelligent system, is a great impulse of the advancement of mobile travel service.This thesis defines the concepts of mobile travel service, analyzes the potential and the advantage that if context-awareness application is adopted in mobile travel service, and introduces the new ways about potential of mobile impact the tourism business and customer, using the theories of tourism, e-commerce, information industry and other related fields.Details are as follows:Part one,the preface, is mainly concerned with the background and significance of this research project, research summarizations at home and abroad, the purpose and content of this research, and the methods and techniques of this thesis.Part two discusses the definition and the forms of mobile travel service, the characteristics of mobile travel service, and the actuality of the development in mobile travel service and the main problems.Part Three discusses the approaches,content and operations of mobile travel service beneath different technical backgrounds.The evolution of mobile travel service is presented.On the base of elaborating mobile travel service and context-awareness application, Part Four discusses the potentiality of mobile travel service by analyzing the advantages of context-awareness computing, such as portable,intelligent, precise, and multi-system structure available;it also forecasts the impulse on development of mobile travel service by analyzing the data collected from some research organizations.Part Five,as viewed from buying cycle,suggests the ways for the relative enterprises to support mobile travel service, and discusses the significance of context-awareness application adopting in mobile travel service from the perspectives of market expanding, cost saving and strengthening competitive advantage.Part Six which is the conclusion, summarizes this Paper generally, and proposes the areas that still need to be improved in the future.
