In the 21st century, urbanization will be the main solution of reducing the income gap between urban and rural areas of China, solving the "three rural" issue, optimizing the industrial structure,expanding effective demand and achieving sustainable economic development. Only speeding up urbanization can promote the stably and sustainable grow of China's economy and harmony development of the entire society of China. In the process of urbanization, the farmers are the most important micro-foundation, in fact, the process of urbanization is the process of growing migration populations from rural to urban, so the research on farmers" migration behavior is of great importance.Farmers shifting from agriculture to non-agriculture, from rural to urban is a common trend in the process of the economic development of all countries, is an inevitable law of economic and social development. China has a big population. agricultural population accounts for more than one half, the contradiction between population and land is obvious, the income gap between urban and rural areas is widening, a serious surplus of rural labor, the migration of farmers into cities seems to be particular important. Speeding up the pace of farmers migration is the fundamental way of solving China's "three rural" issue and increasing their income, accelerating the pace of urbanization and the achieving the sustainable development of economy.This paper takes Shandong province region as research area, migratory farmers as research object and urbanization as background. The paper researches the farmers' migration in the process of urbanization in Shandong Province. This paper is based on population migration theory, takes urbanization as background, investigates urbanization and farmers migration of Shandong Province comprehensively, the paper analyzes the migration motives, decision-making mechanism and the micro and macro factors that impact the migration decision-making of the farmers. At the micro level analysis, the paper chooses Qingdao. Zibo and Heze field as survey regions. Based on data from questionnaires, the thesis constructs binary Logistic model of Shandong province to analyze the micro factors that influence farmers migration quantitatively, and putting forward corresponding long-term mechanism which includes dynamic mechanism, promoting mechanisms and implementation mechanisms to promote migration of farmers. The paper includes: First, the introduction. The study describes the research background, theoretical and practical significance of the study, research ideas, research methods and innovations.Second, the migration of the farmers reviews at home and abroad, related concepts. The introduction of the migration of farmers reviews at home and abroad provides the text a theoretical basis to study the farmers'migration behavior and mechanism.Third, analyzing the urbanization and farmers'migration of Shandong Province. Recalling the development of urbanization in Shandong Province, urbanization history, urbanization development level, urbanization development delay and the adverse effects of urbanization development delay, and the paper recalls the evolution of farmers' migration history, general characteristics, significance and problems of Shandong Province, using SPSS statistical software to analyze the relationship between the Shandong Urbanization and the farmers'migration.Fourth, analyzing the farmers' migration behavior in the process of Shandong Province urbanization. Based on the field surveys of Qingdao, Zibo and Heze, the paper analyzes the farmers'migration motives, the cost-benefit of the farmers'migration, and from the micro and macro point of view, analyzes the factors affecting the migration of farmers qualitatively and quantitatively.Fifth, establishing the long-term mechanism to promote migration of farmer in the process of Shandong Province urbanization. According to the analysis of the previous chapters, combined with the reality, putting forward long-term mechanism which includes dynamic mechanism, promoting mechanisms and implementation mechanisms to promote migration of farmers, to achieve the development and utilization of labor resources, change population pressure to driving force for the promotion of economic development.Sixth, the main conclusions of the paper.
