The Study on the Export Trade Development of Apple Product in ChinaApple is the world's most widely consumed and truly worldwide fruit variety cultivated throughout 80 countries and regions in the world. Chinese apple production has a long history with unique ecological resources. It is the first time that China's apple production surpassed the United States in 1992. China is a big apple producer. And the Chinese apple is the largest fruit industry's brand in fruit production. Chinese apple product is apple juice-based products. Although the apple processing industry in China started late, rapid growth, the output rate of 15% per annum growth to become the world's largest producer of apple juice concentrate. Chinese apple products have played an important strategic role in export earnings, industrial structure adjustment of agriculture and increasing income of the farmers. This study base on theory of comparative advantage, factor endowments and technological gap theory using empirical analysis and normative analysis, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, from the apple production, processing, consumption, distribution, export trade and other aspects of research, analyze China apple products in the export trade problems, in order to provide strategic options and policy proposals promoting export trade of apple in China.With the continuous improvement of people's living standards as well as international and domestic markets for the increasing demand for fruit, apple industry's position in agriculture is also increasing rapidly. From 1978 to 2001, there were two fast-growth period, a period of adjustment in China's apple production. Since 2001, China's overall situation of apple's sales is improving. According to the statistics of Agriculture Ministry, China's overall apple production is 27.8599 million ton in 2007, accounting for 42.8% of world apple production. Foreseeable future, China's apple production growth trends towards development, but growth tends to slow. Apple reached a certain level of production scale, the development of apple processing industry play a decisive role in the development of the entire apple industry. China has become the world's largest producer of apple juice concentrate. However, since apple processing industry started late in China, small processing varieties, poor processing equipment, as well as week technical factors, widespread small-scale processing, low efficiency in processing. Domestic enterprises lack of orderly competition, so Chinese concentrated apple juice in the foreign sales price continuously fall, as well as easily lead to international trade disputes in the sales of products; there are other problems such as non-standard packaging, poor storage conditions, short shelf-life and simple means of transport constraints, which result in weak export capacity. In 2008, China's exports of concentrated apple juice were obviously affected by economic crisis and other factors, the export volume decreased significantly, exports increase in relative and the export price fluctuations obvious.Although China is a big apple-producing country, in recent years China's apple exports has been rapidly grew, the proportion of the total share of production is very low, below the world average, far lower than China's Apple's main competitive countries, disproportionate with the world's apple-producing countries status. Species composition of China's apple exports is unreasonable, low-tech and concentrated in export destination country, small in the proportion of exports, these factors restricting China's Apple and its products export trade. China's apple export market is too concentrated and less able to fight against market risk; China's export processing technology lags behind; China's export variety of Apple products are unreasonable; Chinese apple product quality and safety is not high ; China's export marketing strategy lags behind, which restrict exports trade of apple in China. However, compared with the other major apple producing countries, Chinese Apple has obvious advantages including the total scale advantages, ecological advantages in resources, cost, price advantage and geographical location advantages.Economic globalization bring new opportunities to exports trade of apple in China and promote China's apple industry's export trade must give full play to their strengths; improve international competitiveness to become the world's largest producer of apple. Specific measures include improving information service system and adopting a variety of strategies to promote market diversification, accelerating scientific and technological research to enhance scientific and technological level of apple, promoting apple production specialization, the promoting the development of export-related industries, strengthening government regulation , improving the apple's product quality and safety and establishing an early warning mechanism for export apples.
