The Study On GIS-based Henan Inland River Navigation Economic Analysis System

Inland river navigation in Henan province is an important integrated part of the transport system. With the successful completion of 11th Five-Year Plan and the beginning of 12th Five-Year Plan, people all over the province pay more and more attention on the inland river navigation informationization of Henan Province.With the perspective of inland water transport and economic development, a discussion on the integration of GIS and inland water transport economic models are carried out, which builds up GIS-based Henan Inland River Navigation Economic Analysis System. The main tasks are:1. According to the actual demands, the overall design on SuperMap GIS-based Henan Inland River Navigation Economic Analysis System is put forward, including design objectives, principles, system architecture, system technology route, and system functions. The integration of GIS and inland navigation system is initially established.2. Study and analyze the architecture design of of Henan Inland River Navigation Economic Analysis System, and discuss the development of SuperMap GIS-based Henan Inland River Navigation Economic Analysis System over SuperMap Objects 6R, relate attribute data to spatial location on the shipping fields, and analyze spatial statistics.3. Integrate geographical spatial autocorrelation model and gray model with GIS technology, complete the correlation analysis on shipping development and regional economic development, and display the thematic maps. The elastic coefficient model and double exponential smoothing model are applied to the system, and forecast inland shipping cargo throughput of Henan province from 2010 to 2020, which provides a reliable basis for planning and decision-making on the navigation department.4. Study how to use VB and GIS second development components to realize data storage, display, query, and statistics related to inland river transport; to realize map browsing, layers management, and thematic map production; to achieve data editing and system management.GIS-based analysis and prediction of inland water transport system can effectively promote the process of shipping information, to achieve the timely shipping of data transmission and sharing, and master the shipping development and regional economic analysis of Henan province, which have some guidance and reference information on the construction of inland shipping.
