Study On The Synthesis And Anticancer Activity Of Some Testosterone Thiosemicarbazone Compounds

Steriod anticancer drugs are an important parts of anticancer drugs. Now many steroid anticancer drugs are used in clinical treatment.In this thesis,testosterones are condensed with thioicsemicarbazide and its derivatives in order to prepare testosterone thiosemicarbazone analogous. Then these compounds were tested for antitumor activity.In the thesis,Eleven testosterone compounds were respectively refluxed with Semicarbazide,Thioicsemicarbazide and Methyl Hydrazinecarbodithioate.Finally 28 componds were obtained,nineteen of them were new compounds.The yield of reaction was 60-80%.The structures of the obtained compounds were proved by IR,~1H-NMR and HRMS.One of them was characterized by X-Ray diffraction.28 testosterone thiosemicarbazone analogous were tested for antitumor activity.Some of them were found to be active.
