As an important transmission parts, the gear played a vital role in the development of society as a whole, so it is a problem that is coming to a head to Improve the precisio n gear processing equipment. Grinding vibration is the biggest affecting factor of the gri nding machine’s final molding precision. So it should be sufficient attention that how to reduce the effects of vibration in grinding machine.The object of this study is high-precision grinding machine molding YK7380. By t he modal analysis of gear grinding machine, it was informed that stand column and knif e rest system is the largest part of the deformation. Because the column is directly conne cted with the knife rest, the grinding vibration caused by the grinding wheel will decreas e the column stability and grinding precision. Optimization and analysis by improving t he positioning accuracy of the column installation, increasing damping of column and k nife rest structure, reducing the amplitudes of column and knife rest structure were provi ded in this paper, in order to improve the final grinding precision.The monolithic column and separate column was been analyzed by modal analysis and harmonious response analysis, and the natural frequencies and harmonic response o f structures were compared. It can be concluded that separate column was lower than th e overall column in vibration amplitude, the number in the X direction is 15.8%, in the Z direction is 11.5%. It showed that the separate column is superior to the overall colum n, and separation structure with certain flexibility in the installation location. The natural frequency and vibration response were analyzed in two column material that is cast iron and artificial granite composites. The two roughly equal in terms of the natu ral frequency, but the artificial granite material is about five times that of cast iron mater ials in attenuation of vibration. So compared to cast iron, artificial granite material has l arger damping and faster vibration attenuation.A dynamic vibration absorbing means was designed to effectively reduce the ampli tude of column and knife rest structure. The device uses an adjustable pendulum structur e; get vibration(wheel, feed screw, etc.) structure in different vibration source by buildi ng the damping system dynamics model and calculation. Validated by Ansys harmonic r esponse analysis, the amplitude decreases more than three times in grinding work..By modal analyzing the complete machine and optimizing the final grinding precision of separate column, structural damping and amplitude, it can reduce the amplitude of grinding machine, and increase the working accuracy tremendously. It can offer the theoretical basis for the follow-up study in grinding machine.
