The material processing of high temperature alloy is very important for aerospace career. However, the drilling in the high temperature alloy with the traditional method, torque and axial force are larger and the processing result is unsatisfactory. In order to solve this problem, we can adopt the method of electrical heating assisted drilling. Electric heating assisted drilling is a typical composite processing technic, workpiece and tool constitute its circuit,which flows in low-voltage and high current, the high current density generates much heat to increase the cutting temperature in cutting zone, accordingly shear resisting force of workpiece is reduced, so a more smoothly cutting process can obtained.Electric heating assisted cutting through the heating resistance on local cutting zone rapid heating processing materials in order to play a role, so the heat resistance of formation mechanism, components and formula of calculation, the analysis of electrical heating assisted cutting mechanism is of great significance.With the traditional cutting processing method, the cutting speed is the most important influencing factor of tool life, however, the electric heating assisted cutting exerted a lot of low voltage electric current to heat cutting micro area, in order to soften the processed material, so the heating and electric corrosion is the main influencing factors of tool wear. The paper analyses the characteristics of the tool wear which can help to improve the tool life.Electric heating assisted cutting parameters, such as feeding, speed, heating current have different drilling force. Through the experimental measurement of drilling force under different parameter combinations, we an determine the most influencing factors and the best combination.In this paper, the heating resistance of the research, the establishment of the model. The heating resistance decreases with the increase of cutting depth and feed rate, and increases with the increase of heating current and speed.. The cutting temperature in the electric heating assisted cutting is the decisive factor to the tool wear Because of the strong effects of low pressure high current and high temperature, the tool wear is the main wear, corrosion, thermal wear and wear The change parameters of the drilling force measurement experiment, can get the heating current on the drilling force of the biggest impact, next is cutting speed, and finally feed quantity.
