With the development of scale and the degree of modernization of industrial enterprise,security problem has increasingly become the focus of attention. Ensuring the safety of peopleand property during the rapid development of industry has become a major factor thatinfluents the social’s evelopment and progress. As the unit for greater security risk, chemicalenterprises’ security problem has caught people’s eyes all the times, and systematical andcomprehensive safety evaluation methods of chemical enterprises have developed gradually.As a new developing mode of chemical industry in recent twenty years, the chemical industrypark not only integrates the industry resources, expands the scale of production and increasesthe efficiency of enterprises, but also brings the security problem at the same time. Because ofthe large numbers, large volume of product storage tanks and gradually formed residentialand commercial districts gathered in the chemical industry, the risk increases a lot. Now theresearch on the safety evaluation technology of chemical industry park mostly depends onforeign study, completed and effective evaluation method has not yet been set. Therefore, thispaper combines the Damage Scope Evaluation Method, Toxic and Flammable andExplosive Major Hazard Source Evaluation Method, the Domino Effect Probability Analysismethod and Risk Evaluation Method, and establishes a model of safety evaluation forchemical industry park. Evaluate the overall safety evaluation of chemical industry parkthrough the software, not only simplifies the safety assessment of chemical industry park, butalso improve the accuracy of evaluation. This paper also provides a powerful data support forthe campus’s safety management and construction of the park by using threshold to determinethe safety protection distance of major dangerous source. The main contents are as follows:(1) Starting from the basic theory and method of safety assessment, this paper set theresearch subject as the analysis of the consequences of the accident of major dangeroussource and Domino effect;(2) Analysed the factors of the accident upgraded to bigger accidents and theircircumstances in the chemical industry park,and determining the acceptable risk degree ofthe park using the theory of probability of Domino effect; (3) Designed a software for accident analysis and probability judgement of thechemical park accident based on Visual Basic6.0, which can effectively calculate andanalysis data.
