The main purposes of this paper is synthesizing polytetrahydrofuran polyether and use it as a modifying agent of calcium carbonate and polypropylene (PP), Moreover, in the process of Synthesis polytetrahydrofuran polyether opened a green synthetic route by using the solid acid.In the process of proton acid synthesizing polytetrahydrofuran, using the the oleum/perchloric acid as a catalyst for polytetrahydrofuran ring-opening by the experimental comparison. Study the changes in calcium carbonate range values, activation degree and contact angle by using obtained polytetrahydrofuran. The study showed that when the amount of modification of the polyether to powders is1%to2%and the amount of calcium carbonate filler is40%, it is possible to enhance the polypropylene composite material which modified calcium carbonate filler to the polypropylene resin Comprehensive performance. In addition,it is possible to significantly improve the comprehensive performance of the composite material when the amount of the perchloric acid is0.5mlin the synthesis of polyether process.In addition, there are also made of a variety of solid acid catalyst that synthesized the polytetrahydrofuran. polyether and screened Ti-based catalyst which have a better catalytic effect in experiment. Preparation of the all kinds of Ti-based catalyst, and ultimately find out TiO2/MoO3solid acid catalyst which can efficient catalyzing polytetrahydrofuran polymerization. The study found that when MoO3loading is3:10, the polymerization conversion rate of polytetrahydrofuran can reach60%and when modify the surface of TiO2/MoO3that the polymerization conversion rate of polytetrahydrofuran can also increased. Therefore, the optimal ratio of polymerization is:The amount of catalyst is1g, epichlorohydrin is1ml, except water in polytetrahydrofuran. is20ml.
